Today
Today we concluded our personal research for this project. We find that the information we have now is enough, otherwise our project post would become out of hand.
Also we contacted the people responsible for the clima pavillion in Zurich to find out, what they need for us for our collaboration.
Our collaboration team from Kerala has exams at the moment, which means they will send their document with their research as soon as their exams are through (estimated in about one or two weeks).
In three weeks
Due to final exams which are held here at our school, we will not have school for the next two weeks. That means we will not be working on this project as actively until the 24th of June.
On the 24th we will evaluate and analyze our survey and add it to our final document.
Also we will include the research of the team from Kerala into our document as well.
These are the questions we are going to ask my half-sister in the interview next week:
- How did you start this line of work? Why did you choose it? (What would be interesting about this job)
- What are the positive sides of herbal medicine? (To see the benefits)
- What are the negative sides of herbal medicine? (To know about the dangers)
- Would you always recommend using herbal medicine? If not, why? (Her opinion about it)
- Why is it, that some countries use more natural remedies and others don’t? (What is it like in other countries?)
- What kind of plants can be used for medical reasons? (How many plants are there?)
- Which ones do you think actually help? Which ones do you use? (Her experience and opinion)
- Is there a chance of reduction in the number/amount of medical plants available due to constant usage? Have you ever faced such a situation, or do you think there will be a situation like that in the future? (Possible shortage of medical plants)
- Artificial fertilizers can also reduce the effect of medical plants. What opinion do you have about that statement? (Are artifical fertilizers dangerous for the medical plants?)
- How is the use of medical plants beneficial or harmful for the environment? (Does it affect the environment?)
We are positive, that this interview will go very well and give us important information for our project.
Anabel & Karla
What we have accomplished so far: (4th February - 1st April)
- We have contacted Anabel’s half-sister, who works with herbal medicine, to do an interview with.
- We have prepared the interview questions.
- We have recorded our audio pitch (Post: Audio pitch)
- We have contacted a team from Kerala and successfully formed a collaboration.
- We have thought of some questions for a survey and started to prepare the survey for publishing.
Things we do every week
- Update our word document where we write down our progress.
- Send the project progress document to the team from Kerala to keep them updated.
8th April
- Start with our internet research.
- Continue with preparation of the survey.
15th April
- Do the interview with Anabel’s half-sister.
22nd April
- Finish up our survey and publish it.
- Put the interview in writing.

Cycling for a better environment
Cycling is something that most people are able to do. Most people are able to ride a bike from a very young age and most of us aren’t too bad at it. So why not do it more often? It’s not just good for your health, but also for our environment. That is why we want to start this project and encourage people to use there bikes more often. We want to start with building new paths, new options for your bike tours and more options for your safety on the streets. Start now and help us to turn our idea into a project.

I am interested in solar roof systems. how are they made, where are they produced and what do you need for the production?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of solar systems and how much do they cost?
How much electricity can you save with these systems and what can you use them for?
I would like to answer these and other questions in my project.
There are so many different problems, if we think about the environment and there are big inventions, when it comes to technology.
- But how can we help?
- how can we reduce our water?
- what can we do to renew energy, save and use it again?
- are we locally using renewable energy? Or don’t? How can we change it?
- can we plants trees?
- saving water is such a good thing we don’t even realize how much water we use and waste.
all about how to live more ecofriendly and do Little things in our everyday life to improve our enviroment.
With sunlight the photovoltaic produces direct electricity. The generated direct electricity is converted to alternating electricity by the inverter. Through conversion, the alternating electricity can be fed directly into the public or privately used power grid, thus either reducing your own electricity costs. How much electricity does it produce on a normal day?
It is an important topic and a good way to save energy and to do something good for our environment. A good idea would be to install a photovoltaic system on every new building and so the electricity would be produced by itself.
Our idea would be to find out more about photovoltaics by interview people who has photovoltaics on their building.
