The Tiny House Movement

The Tiny House Movement is an architectural and social movement that advocates a simple life in small houses. This movement requires financial prudenceeconomic securityshared community experiences and a change in consumerist thinking.

Lets talk about the advantages and disadvantages for the environment.

Sunlight can provide energy, given the right installations and technologies. 

If we invest more in Solar installations we have a constant energy source and we can reduce using fossil fuels or other rare, valuable ressources. Sources like oils, fuels or other eco unfreindly 

Sunlight is basically free so the only high costs will be the installation and maintenance of the solar platforms. If big factories or companies should invest in these technologies, since they can easily run their production plants with it. There would be a way of storaging the energy for rainy or cloudy days. 

 

We could start with wind or water energy as well. But since it is getting warmer and warmer in summer and people keep complaining about the heat, we might aswell use the sun to give us some advantages. But of course, water and wind are a crucial energy source as well. 

 

 

Digital Health - Project idea

What do you think about robots taking over operations in hospitals?

Artificial intelligence, wearable sensors, virtual reality and medical robots are technologies which are completely changing the way people thing and act about healthcare. Digital health tools could also help identify new illnesses or the worsening of existing ones. Digital health tools could help shorten the length of a disease, or help ease symptoms before they really take hold.

The world in 100 years - Project idea

Our Project Idea


In this project we would like to know more about our future. For example some new technologies or solutions for the climate change. 

We are very curious how our world will look like in a couple decades with everything that it includes. From public transportation to our smartphones and even the way we communicate with each other.

We are specially interested in the future of our car industry. Are there still cars with old-fashioned combustion engines? Are there only electric cars on our streets? Do we even have cars in the future and if yes are we still driving them by ourselves?

In this project we would also like to make some interviews with experts.

I have tried to contact some friends of mine in Istanbul for a connection. Unfortunately they have no time at the moment because their vacation ended now and they have started with the school year where they have to prepare themselves for their exams. They are too busy right now to make a collaboration.

What do I know about E&T?

  • I think environmental technology is the technological process of protecting the environment as well as restoration of already damaged ecosystems. 
  • What to do against environmental protection: Recycling, waste disposal, sewage treatment, reduction of air pollution, use of renewable energy 

What I would like to know?

  • How are the funds used to protect the environment?
  • How the people get motivated to do something against the environmental pollution?
  • Has the situation improved compared to the past?
