In 1984 there are strict rules and standards to stick by. Nowadays people are allowed to have their own mindset and voice concerning who they want to be and how the want to be treated. At least in switzerland.

How will this issue evolve in the further future? Are people allowed to call themselves just anything they want? What could be the consequences of such a society?

We wrote our last IDAF concerning today's gender community. We compared life for transgender people in 1984, today and 2084. Our theories as well as our podcast are attached below.

Please understand that these are only speculations based on our own experiences and knowledge of this topic. We tried to write as neutral as possible. Thank you for understanding.

This is our last post on The Horse and we want to wish you good luck finishing your BMS and apprenticeships.

Best of luck and goodbye
Fabrizio & Toni

Wood is one of the oldest used plants and one of the most important plant-product as a resource. It's considered humankind’s very first source of energy. The deforestation was one of the first big intervention of mankind in the ecosystem. Today it is still the most important single source of renewable energy providing about 6% of the global total primary energy supply. More...

Our goal was to enlighten the people on the subject of city parks and how they have a great impact on the world. We've learned a lot during the research and the progress of the project. We also were lucky, that we were able to work with the Grün Stadt Zürich and use their informations and documents.
Overall, it was a great project and we are looking forward to feedbacks on donstwastemy.energy.

We had some dificulties with the presentation in wordpress but we managed to make it look clean. We had to rewrite a part of our interview because the formation was wrong. But in the end everything looked good and we published our work on https://dontwastemy.energy/2021/01/20/city-parks-and-their-impact-on-the-environment/

In the beginning we had alot of ideas for the topic of our project but now we are happy with the chosen topic. It was a bit difficult to find some promising sources at first. But after a few researches, we found a detailed document of the Stadt Zürich which describes our topic really good. So we asked them if we could use it and made also an inquiry for an interview.
Another difficulty was to write the text in an easy and readable way and language. We needed to explain a few foreign words to make the text understandable.
Even without a collaboration, we think that our project has enough information.
In general it was a lot of fun to work on that project and to search some information for an important topic. We think we've learned alot with this type of work and we're satisfied with the final results.
We're looking forward to the publication.

Kerala depends on the neighbouring states for most of the resources including food items. The changing pattern of resource consumption in Kerala during the past 50 years has promoted the state as one among the top most consumer states of the nation.
We are unaware that Kerala is one of the biggest exporters of Britain. Now, we came to know that this is the time to save our earth.Youths are usually not interested in farming, mostly due to their perception of farming being antiquated and unprofitable. In a conference organized for youths, almost all the youth respondents are of the view that the main reason for repulsion from practicing farming is that farming is non – lucrative.

We asked someone from Kerala to do a collaboration with us. Unfortunately the interest was only on one side and the corona virus affected our chances on a collaboration, so we can't include another country in our project.
The Grün Stadt Zürich rejected us aswell at first. But after a few e-mails and some convincing, they agreed on an interview.
But overall our experiences are really good and we have many informations and sources for our topic. So we are confidently looking forward on doing our project.

We found good sources on the internet which we want to read through and get an overview. The sources are from the city of zurich.
We are also waiting on an answer from the department of environment in zurich for our interview request, which we sent them last week. Maybe we contact them again because its already a week ago. We will write the questions today and when they agree, send it to them.

        Our imagined city park
We thought about city parks and how we think a city park should be and what it should contain.
In our opinion city parks should allow enough space for people. That means that there should be fields but aswell ways and trees. So you can do some sportive activities, but also hang around with friends or play something with other people. Maybe even have a picknick or have a little walk in the forest. All in all, the park should be a place of retreat from your daily business and shouldn't contain a city atmosphere.
If there is enough space, the park will automatically allow some little wild animals to live there. Maybe some ponds with ducks and fishes or even small lakes can also be a part. So it can create a small eco system and help the biodiversity.
When a city park is big and offers much to do and to see, it can be seen as a landmark of the city which would help the popularity of city parks.

One of the most important ressources on our planet: Water
We need it in almost every aspect of our life, but we are running out of it. This leads to companys trade with it and trying to make profit with it. We want to discover how they do it and if everything is legal.
Now...
- What are the consequences for future generations?
- How did it get so far?
- How does it look with dry regions?
- What can we do?
