Are concept cities like neom the future of mobility?

There is a plan for a new kind of city with big public transports. The space of the city would be well planed and the mobility would nearly be perfect. An example of such a city is "Neom". Neom is an project idea of the arabic gouvernement. The plan is to start in 2030 with the project. Neom is a old greek word and means new. Everything in the city should be new, futuristic and enviroment friendly.

Are there any bad points about that city? I remember reading an article where the local population is really against building the futuristic city, because the location would be at a local tribe. Are there any "better" projects?

Our project idea medical plants

Anabel and I decided, that our project would be on natural remedies and herbal medicine. She made the first step to get in contact with the students in India and now we're waiting for their reply. We created a chat in Teams and a first document where we will stay on top of things regarding our project.

As a team, we decided we would also work with her half-sister, who works in herbal medicine. She can give us the info that we need and also a good insider look.

Audio: Is E-Fuel the future? What else could it be?

Many big car companys like Mazda, VW-AUDI Group or japanese companies like Honda are developing "E-Fuel" cars. Also BMW is looking into the technology and trying to get petrol cars with "2-Butanol". These cars should use very little and organic fuel which would be really environment friendly. This could be a great alternative for the electrical cars, which sometimes are far worse for the enviroment as a normal petrol car. Currently the VW-AUDI Group is looking forward to release their first full E-Fuel 911 Porsche in 2025.

Is E-Fuel really an alternative? Could current petrol cars getting an "upgrade" for E-Fuel? Are electric cars really good with the lithium batteries?

Here is a little preview about our project:

Our project idea - cheap clothes production and transport

Livia and I thought, that it would be interesting to know how the clothes in India are produced and how bad the transport to the markets in Switzerland is for our environment. Is there an eco-friendlier way to transport the clothes? Why don't we produce the clothes only in Switzerland instead of abroad?

We'd like to collabrate with some students form India to find out more about the clothes production there. We also would like to get in contact with some clothes stores in Switzerland and try to find out from which country they get/import their clothes.

A Developed Urban Drainage System to ensure a clean and safe surrounding

"Water is life and clean water means health." - Audrey Hepburn

For a city to be clean and its people to be healthy, the problems of pollution and unsanitary living conditions have to be solved. This preponderantly calls for a city to have a well maintained and organized waste management, good air quality and also, a developed drainage system.
The absence of a constructive drainage system in a city can be an ample reason for flooding. Stagnant water in the cities increases chances of unfavorable smell in the atmosphere, release of toxic materials, pollution and health risks. All these can lead to unhygienic, unsanitary living standards in the long run.
So proper sustainable water drainage in cities can ultimately ensure a clean and safe surrounding and help to buckle down wider issues such as pollution and sanitation.

Thank you!
