Some weeks ago, we got the suggestion from Mrs. Suter, that it would be an interesting topic to do a direct comparison from the different car types like fuel / diesel / e-car / hybrid. Personally, we think that would be a great idea! As one of my biggest hobbies are different cars and I own two cars, it would be a great thing to do.
Unfortunately, most dealerships told us, that this is not possible, unless we are interested in buying a car. Other told us it would be possible, but we are too young for them to do a test drive! This was kind of frustrating for us. Luckily, we have found a willing person, to let us test drive three kind of cars! He owns an electric, hybrid and a diesel car, which would be perfect!
He would let us drive his cars for like 30-40 minutes per car for free, but he wants to come with us, and we would not be allowed to film a video. In total, that would be around 4 lessons to test the cars in detail. In our opinion, that would be great, as we could compare all four major car types, as I own a fuel car. Unfortunately, he Is working late nights and weekends and could only meet us in the mornings. We would like to write a good comparison and critic about the main points for cars;
- Average price for a small entry car
- Average usage of fuel/diesel
- Average range
- Average acceleration
- Driving behaviour
As a result, I would like to write my personal opinion about the e-car/hybrid and tell you, if it would be an alternative for a car-guy like myself!
