Over hundreds of years we somehow managed to use a great deal of your fossil fuels and ressources given by nature. Through the years the need of different ressources has changed a bit, for example now we use a lot of oils to run our machines and engines.
These oils usually come from underground and we are talking about hundrets of meters below the surface. Abot 300 years ago, people were in need of weapons for battle and they used things like steel and copper to form their tools. Humanity did not have all these technologies to use resources. The last 100 years really made a change. We have been mining and collecting goods from all over the world.
But since our ressources won't last forever and we will soon have a shortage of those goods. In order to reduce the waste of ressources we are investing and researching in renewable ressources. It is crucial, that we learn how to recycle propperly and how to use our ressources thoughtful. Howerver, not every natural ressoruce can be re-used or recycled. In these cases we are talking about non renewable ressources.
Our presentation is not very informative but it does have some examples concerning non- renewable and renewable resources.
