The Horse 2020/21

Environment & Technology

Publishing

Today we have to edit our text again, because the whole formation, we already did, got deleted. Another issue is that the formation we want to do will not be taken over and we have to do it again and again.

We are looking forward to finishing our project today and publish it on DON'T WASTE MY ENERGY! We hope that you enjoy reading our project.

Step 7: Promotion and feedback

Our goal was to enlighten the people on the subject of city parks and how they have a great impact on the world. We've learned a lot during the research and the progress of the project. We also were lucky, that we were able to work with the Grün Stadt Zürich and use their informations and documents.
Overall, it was a great project and we are looking forward to feedbacks on donstwastemy.energy.

Reflection -Effects of building materials on the environment

During this project we learned a lot about the importance of building materials. They have a big impact on the buildings but also on the environment. By using building materials like rammed earth we can safe masses of energy for other things.
We also realised how difficult it is to make environmentally friendly adjustments, as there are many individual variables in a building project.
Even though we didn't expect the complexity of this project, we managed to put together an informative project.

Publishing - Effects of building materials on the environment

Working with Wordpress to publish our work was not as hard as we expected. In fact we were quite fast and were able to make our result pretty good-looking. If our teacher is pleased with our work we are ready to go live. After that we are going to write a reflection of the project on the horse (befter step 5).

Shape & Create - Effect of building materials on the environment

Durin the befter step 4 "Shape & Create" we produced a lot of self-made text, media and calculations. Only the picture of the building made out of rammed earth wasn't made by ourselves.

The Effect of building materials on the environment

Climate change has been on everyone’s lips for some time. It is clear that measures must be taken to slow down global warming. An important part of the change must happen in the building industry, because it has a direct impact on our environment.More...

Step 5 – Reflection

For the project we decided to research on organic agriculture. After spending the sessions, discussing with Eliane, we have become very aware of the numerous negative impacts we are making in our life. Through our discussions I have become more passionate on ways humans can have a better relationship with the land. Many civilizations before us knew how to live with the land without destroying it or without making as much of a footprint. I hope this publication will serve as a platform for communication across food and agricultural studies students here at while continuing to teach the community about food justice and food sustainability. We also encourage students who are studying food and agriculture.

Some facts about masks

Question: How are OP masks produced?
Sachgeschichte: OP-Maske Herstellung (kinder.wdr.de)

What are the ingredients? Are they toxic for humans?
Maskenpflicht: Gift im Gesicht (heise.de)

What about their life cycle - end of pipe or circular?
? - End of pipe.

Step 6: Publishing

At first Wordpress seemed a bit complicated and it was very confusing. It has a few similarities to Office Word yet at the same time it was totally a different experience.

We had to ask our fellow classmates and Mrs. Sutter many questions at the beginning but with the time we got the hang of it and we were able to navigate the program on our own and finalize our post which are excited to share.
